Only the best is good enough

School Visits
From time to time groups of children will visit parts of their local environment or undertake trips further afield to places such as castles, museums, contrasting landscapes etc. Much thought and effort goes into the preparation of such visits and their follow up work. As the school incurs a charge, parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution to help meet the cost of these visits. School does not have the financial resources to meet the costs of these visits. For each visit, parents will be asked to sign a slip to give permission for their child to be taken out of school. Without this signed slip, children cannot be taken out of school. Risk assessments are carried out on all visits.

Extended Visits
We try and arrange a residential visit for the children during Years 3, 4 & 5. You will be informed about any proposed visits about 6 - 9 months before they are due, to give you plenty of time to save for them. We find that these visits play a great part in developing the child's confidence and independence.
